the objects of the charity are the advancement of the education of the public and in furtherance of these objects (but without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing) to:- 1) acquire, maintain and permanently preserve such military artifacts and relics of historical and technical interest, including those specifically related to the development of armoured fighting vehicles, as the trustees may consider appropriate wheresoever the same shall be situated 2) establish, develop and maintain in perpetuity a museum as a military museum for the study and general knowledge of all military subjects
