(1) to relieve persons with mental and physical disabilities resident in the north west of england by bringing such persons into closer association with able bodied people and the provision of,or assistance in the provision of recreational or other leisure time occupations for such persons with the object of improving their conditions of life and in particular to provide the opportunity to undertake competitive and non-competitive sports and hobbies to assist their intergration into society.(2)to advance education by bringing persons with mental and physical disabilities resident in north west of england into closer association with able bodied people so that both the former and the latter will benefit from such association and intergration
