Objects:
a) preserve and safeguard the health of all persons who are in danger of becoming addicted to or dependant upon drugs of any description, alcohol, solvents or other addictive substances and in particular, young persons. b) relieve the poverty, sickness and distress of persons resulting from the misuse of drugs, solvents and alcohol. c) advance education and training among persons who are working in the field of drug misuse, solvent abuse and alcohol addiction. d) advance the education of the public in the dangers arising from the habitual or occasional consumption of narcotic, stimulant and hallucinogenic drugs, solvent abuse and alcohol addiction. e) promote either alone or with others research into drug misuse, solvent abuse and alcohol addiction and into methods of alleviating addiction and to publish the results of such research.
