to provide each year a bursary to former students of neath college resident in the area of bebnefit to assist them in pursuing a degree course at an establishment of higher education under such rules as may be laid down by the trustees for the award of said prizes with power to carry forward in any year income in the case of there being no suitable student or students and to vary such rules from time to time at the disceretion of the trustees if such variation be found desirable without affecting the said trust TO PROVIDE A PRIZE BY WAY OF BURSARY TO THE VALUE OF NOT LESS THAN FIVE HUNDRED (ú500) EACH YEAR TO THE BEST STUDENT OF MATHEMATICS AT GCE ADVANCED LEVEL OR EQUIVALENT AT NEATH COLLEGE UNDER SUCH RULES AS MAY BE LAID DOWN BY THE TRUSTEES FOR THE AWARD OF THE SAID PRIZE.
