1) the income of the bedales grants trust fund shall be applied in making grants or loans to parents of pupils or intending pupils of bedales school who stand in need of financial aid to maintain such pupils at bedales school as may from time to time be selected by the trustees subject to the approval of the headmaster, who shall give or withold his approval as he in his discretion shall think fit. 2) in making such grants or loans preference shall be given to a parent or parents who was or were a pupil or pupils at bedales school.
