3. objectsthe trustees shall hold the trust fund and its income upon trust to apply them for the following objects:3.1 the prevention and relief of poverty and the relief of financial hardship and distress in those persons who are:3.1.1 current or former staff of vauxhall motors limited; 3.1.2 current or former staff of ibc vehicles limited;3.1.3 former employees of either automotive development centre limited (registered company no. 2263622) and all wheel drive limited (registered company no. 2263622) who both:(a) left vauxhall motors limited or bedford commercial vehicles limited on 23 november 1981; and(b) who were aged 50 or over with ten years’ service of vauxhall motors limited on 23 november 1981;and3.1.4 the dependants, spouses, cohabitees, widows or widowers of such persons identified in clause 3.1.1, 3.1.2 or 3.1.3; and3.1.5 in exceptional circumstances (in relation to which a special majority of 75% of the number of trustees in office for the time being shall be required) such other individual or individuals with a connection to vauxhall motors limited and their dependants, spouses, cohabitees, widows or widowers as the trustees determine.
