"the charity's objects (""the objects"") are established for the benefit of the inhabitants of tipton in the metropolitan borough of sandwell and surrounding local areas in the metropolitan borough of sandwell and other metropolitan borough councils in the west midlands (hereafter referred to as the area of benefit); without distinction of age, sex, sexual orientation, nationality, ethnic or national origins, race, colour, marital status, disability, political or religious beliefs; by associating the local statutory authorities, voluntary organisations and the inhabitants in a common effort to advance education, the preservation of good health and relief of poverty, distress or sickness and to provide facilities in the interest of social welfare for the recreation and leisure time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life for the inhabitants of the area of benefit."
