Objects:
(a) to provide or assist in the provision of resources and facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation or other leisure time occupation of individuals who have need of such facilities by reason of their youth, age infirmity or disability, financial hardship or social circumstances with the object of improving their conditions of life. (b) to advance the education of the public in general on the reuse of scrap and waste materials in order to protect the environment in particular, but not exclusively, by: 1. developing crafting and artistic skills through workshops, tours, tutorials, worksheets and other forms of communication on how waste products, scrap, junk or surplus materials from domestic and commercial organisations can be reused in a creative way; 2. encouraging a greater awareness amongst the general public, by participating in community events, outreach work and other activities, of the opportunity for artistic and creative activity using materials that may otherwise be regarded as waste, thereby offering protection to the environment.
