1. to relieve poverty and to advance education in borneo (hereinafter called the area of benefit), in particular, by assisting the newly settled penan people and other races in the area of benefit. 2. to research, collect and propogate medicinal rainforest plants within the area of benefit and to disseminate the results of such research for the benefit of the public.
