the objects of the company are to promote the benefit of the community in the rose hill district of derby and its environs (the area) in such manner as may be charitable and in particular but not so as to limit the generality of the foregoing: - (a) to promote, maintain, improve and advance the education of the community in the area in particular through the provision of vocational training (b) to provide or assist in the provision of facilities for recreation or other leisure-time occupation in the interests of social welfare for the said inhabitants with the object of improving their conditions of life, in furtherance of the above but not otherwise.
