1.to relieve poverty in zambia and other third world countries in particular by:- a.the promotion of sustainable self-help projects and schemes which stimulate the production of food and other necessities. b.the advancement of agriculture and other locally appropriate commerce and industry including but not by way of limitation the provision for poor persons of scholarships, courses, workshops, skilled training and assistance in setting up small farms and businesses provided always that assistance shall not be construed in such a way as to commit the trust to continuing support or advice in relation to any business. c.the promotion of the environmentally sustainable use of natural resources (and the prevention of land degradation) by way of environmental audits and other appropriate measures. 2.to advance the education of people living in zambia and other third world countries by the provision of educational facilities. 3.to relieve sickness and protect and preserve health of people living in zambia and other third world countries in particular by the provision of health centres and medical supplies.
