for any charitable purpose or purposes principally (but not exclusively) at or in connection with any health care facility provided by the harrogate and district nhs foundation trust which will further the following aims:- a) the investigation of the causes of and the prevention, treatment, cure and defeat of any sickness in all its forms; b) the advancement of scientific and medical education and research in topics related to sickness in all its forms c) the furtherance of any other charitable purposes for the relief of persons suffering from any illness. for any charitable purpose or purposes relating to the national health service wholly or mainly for the services provided by the harrogate and district nhs foundation trust for the relief of sickness pertaining to any health care facility provided by the harrogate and district nhs foundation trust by promoting the efficient performance of their duties by the staff of those facilities for the relief of sickness in patients who are or have been treated at any health care facility provided by the harrogate and district nhs foundation trust for the purchase of medical equipment or to further medical research (excluding transplants or vivisection work) for which no exchequer funds are forseeably available at the time for the benefit either of the harrogate district hospital or the harrogate general hospital or both. for any charitable purpose or purposes relating to the national health service a common investment fund established by a scheme of the commissioners of the 12/06/1989 for the benefit of the charities affected by the said scheme
