the promotion for the public benefit of urban of rural regeneration in the areas of social and economic deprivation in the city of birmingham and surrounding areas; the relief of poverty in such ways as may ne thought fit; the provision of advice, guidance, information, appropriate resources and other forms of support to assist both individuals, groups of residents and organisations, voluntary groups and charities; the relief of unemployment in such ways as may be thought fit, including but not limited to the provision of advice and information services and training; the advancement of education, training or retraining particularly among unemployed people and providing unemployed people with work experience; to work with other organisations, voluntary groups and charities to improve their capacity, networks, equipment resources and assets and standard of information available to the benefit of the inhabitants and to advocate improvements in resource allocation; the provision of financial assistance, technical assistance or business advice or consultancy in order to provide training and or employment opportunities for unemployed people and other organisations, voluntary groups and charities; the provision of recreational and social facilities for the public at large and/or those who, by reasons of their youth, age, infirmity, or disablement, poverty or social and economic circumstances have need of such facilities; such other means as may from time to time be determined subject to the prior consent of the charity commissioners for england and wales; to promote such other charitable purposes as may from time to time be determined; to preserve and protect the psychological health of persons who are under stress as a result of struggling (through the effects of poverty, poor housing or similar factors) to care for their children at home.
