(1) to advance the education of the public in first aid; (2) to relieve poverty, sickness and distress particularly amongst the homeless, unemployed or those living in temporary council accomodation by: (2.1) the provision of a day care centre for individuals or families who are homeless or who are unable to remain during the day in overnight temporary accomodation. (2.2) to provide emergency help and advice of a practical nature to individuals in particular need at their homes in conjuction with the statutory services.
