the provision and maintenance of a village hall for use by the inhabitants of the area of benefit without distinction of political, religious or other opinions, including use for : (i) meetings, lectures and classes, and (ii) other forms of recreation and leisure-time occupation, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the inhabitants. (2) to acquire and manage an open space known as the bucknell recreation ground and neighbourhood doorstep green for the benefit of the inhabitants of the area of benefit and to be used forever as an area for informal recreation, play or other leisure time occupations, a meeting area or place for community events and for any other lawful purpose consistent with these trusts and for the general benefit of the community. (3) the land identified in part 1 of the schedule to this scheme must be retained by the committee for use for the objects of the charity.
