(a)to promote the benefit of the inhabitants of the neighbourhood of the old and new loughborough estate and environs bordered by gresham road, coldharbour lane, padfield road, bengeworth road to the south, bessemer road, caldecot road, and denmark road to the east, knatchbull road, lifford road, loughborough road and five ways road to the north, overton road, angel road, wiltshire road, angell park road, st, james crescent, west road and gresham road to thr west without distinction of sex, race, disability or sexual orientation or of political, religious or other opinions by associating the local authorities, voluntary organisations and inhabitiants in a common effort to advance education and to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare with the object of improving the conditions of life of the said inhabitants; (b)to establish or to secure the establishment of a community centre and to maintain and manage, or to co-operate with any local authority in the maintenance and management of such a centre for activites promoted by the association and its constituent bodies in furtheranc eof he above objects.
