(1)to provide in the interest of social welfare the facilities for recreation and other leisure time occupation, with the object of improving the conditions of life for women, in particular the bangladeshi women in the london borough of haringey. (11)to promote and advance public education and vocational training by providing for employment opportunities for women members of the bangladesh community in haringey, having least access to training courses and employment. also, to provide practical support to young bangladeshi girls who are restricted in their career development and employment opportunities. (111)to relieve poverty amongst bangladeshi women in haringey, particularly young unemployed mothers, young women leaving council care by the provision of temporary accommodation for those in need thereof and by such other forms of assistance as may be demed necessary or desirable by the trustees in alleviating social deprivation of the said women.
