the objects of aylesbury women’s aid shall be the relief of need, distress and suffering of women and children who have suffered directly or indirectly from or are exposed to gender-based violence or other abuse, the preservation and protection of their mental and physical health and well-being, and the promotion of research, public education and training on the causes, effects and prevention of such violence and other abuse, by such means as are charitable.
