"(a) to promote and encourage equality of opportunity and to advance education for the public benefit amongst men and women of asian origin by education in constitutional, civic , economic and social studies (""the subjects of study"") with special emphasis on civil and social awareness and responsibility in the uk and elsewhere. (b) to conduct research into the subjects of study as the trustees think fit and to disseminate the useful results of such research for the public benefit. (c) to advance any charitable purpose in accordance with the law of england and wales in the continent of asia and among asian communities as the trustees think fit."
