To establish and maintain a dedicated centre (‘the Centre’) for charitable organisations within the Parishes of:Adderstone with LuckerAncroftBamburghBeadnellBelford with MiddletonBerwickBowsdenBranxtonCarhamCheviotsideCornhill on TweedDoddingtonDuddoEllinghamEwart/AkeldFordHoly IslandHorncliffeIngramKirknewtonKyloeLowickMillfieldNorhamNorth SunderlandOrdShoreswoodTillsideWooler(All Parishes contained within the former Borough of Berwick-upon-Tweed)offering a central location for individuals within the area of benefit and its immediate vicinity to seek assistance from those organisations.b. To promote any charitable purposes for the benefit of the community within the area of benefit and, in particular, the advancement of education, the protection of health and the relief of disability, poverty, distress and sickness.c. To promote and organise co-operation in the achievement of the above purposes and to that end to bring together representatives of the voluntary organisations and statutory authorities within the area of benefit.The Charity is committed to a policy of Equal Opportunities in respect of all its activities.
