normally assist in such maintenance and provision for any charitable purpose or purposes relating to the national health service wholly or mainly for the obstetric nursing service at the queen charlotte's and chelsea hospital for any charitable purpose or purposes relating to the national health service wholly or mainly for the gynaecology nursing service at the queen charlotte's and chelsea hospital for any charitable purpose or purposes relating to the national health service wholly or mainly for the haematology department at the queen charlotte's and chelsea hospital for any charitable purpose or purposes relating to the national health service wholly or mainly for the microbiology department at the queen charlotte's and chelsea hospital for any charitable purpose or purposes relating to the national health service wholly or mainly for the paediatric and neonatal department at the queen charlotte's and chelsea hospital for any charitable purpose or purposes relating to the national health service wholly or mainly for the cytogenetics department at the queen charlotte's and chelsea hospital for any charitable purpose or purposes relating to the national health service wholly or mainly for the seminology department at the queen charlotte's and chelsea hospital for any charitable purpose or purposes principally (but not exclusively) at or in connection with the queen charlotte's and chelsea hospital which will further the advancement of scientific and medical research in topics related to electron microscopy (provided that the useful results of any research must be published) for any charitable purpose or purposes relating to the national health service which will further the following aims: to promote scientific education and medical research in the subjects of pregnancy procreation and human reproduction involuntary sterility and other matters relating to the conception and avoidance of conception of children (and to publish the useful results of such research) and to preserve and protect the good health of parents and prospective parents young people and children by disseminating educational material relating to such subjectss for any charitable purpose or purposes relating to the national health service wholly or mainly for the milk bank service at the queen charlotte's and chelsea hospital for any charitable purpose or purposes relating to the national health service wholly or mainly for the radiology department at the queen charlotte's and chelsea hospital for any charitable purpose or purposes relating to the national health service wholly or mainly for the delivery suite at the at the queen charlotte's and chelsea hospital for any charitable purpose or purposes relating to the national health service at the queen charlotte's and chelsea hospital for any charitable purpose or purposes principally (but not exclusively) at or in connection with the queen charlotte's and chelsea hospital which will further the advancement of scientific and medical education and research in topics related to human reproduction (provided that the useful results of any research must be published). income to be applied towards the aftercare of women during the period of convalescence who have given birth to children in queen charlotte's and chelsea hospital (formerly the queen charlotte's maternity hospital) (hereinafter called ""the hospital"") or who have given birth to children outside the hospital and are being cared for by the hospital.if and in so far as the clear income of the charity is not required for application in accordance with the aforesaid trusts, the same may be applied for the benefit of any maternity patients of any hospital or convalescent home under the management of the special trustees for queen charlotte's and chelsea hospital towards the provision of amenities for patients or staff of the queen charlottes and chelsea hospital and to give them financial assistance in time of need for the benefit and assistance on their discharge of needy and deserving in-patients of any hospital from time to time comprised in the group of hospitals under the management of the imperial college healthcare nhs trust. the amount of assistance to be given to each beneficiary shall not exceed ten per cent of the net income of the charity generated in the previous financial year. if not required as aforesaid the income may be applied for assisting in cases of need patients who are receiving treatment at any hospitals in the said group for any charitable purpose or purposes relating to the national health service wholly or mainly for the ward services at the hammersmith hospital for any charitable purpose or purposes relating to the national health service wholly or mainly for the clinical haematology department at the hammersmith hospital for any charitable purpose or purposes relating to the national health service wholly or mainly for the nursing service at the hammersmith hospital for any charitable purpose or purposes relating to the national health service wholly or mainly for the diabetic department at the hammersmith hospital for any charitable purpose or purposes relating to the national health service wholly or mainly for the geriatric department at the hammersmith hospital for any charitable purpose or purposes relating to the national health service wholly or mainly for the renal department at the hammersmith hospital for any charitable purpose or purposes relating to the national health service wholly or mainly for the paediatric and neo natal department at the hammersmith hospital for any charitable purpose or purposes relating to the national health service wholly or mainly for the obstetrics and gynaecology department at the hammersmith hospital for any charitable purpose or purposes relating to the national health service wholly or mainly for the oncology department at the hammersmith hospital for the relief of sickness at the hammersmith hospital in or towards maintaining the chapel at the said hospital and in providing furnishings and fittings therein in so far as the nhs trust does not normally assist in such maintenance and provision for any charitable purpose or purposes relating to the national health service wholly or mainly for the cardiology department at the hammersmith hospital for any charitable purpose or purposes relating to the national health service wholly or mainly for the histopathology department at the hammersmith hospital common investment fund for special trustees for hammersmith and acton hospitals for any charitable purpose or purposes principally (but not exclusively) at or in connection with the charing cross and west london hospitals which will further the following aims:the investigation of the causes of sickness and disability and the prevention, treatment, cure and defeat of sickness and disability in all its formsthe advancement of scientific and medical education and research in topics related to sickness and disability (providing any useful results are published);the furtherance of any other charitable purposes for the relief of persons suffering from sickness and disability for any charitable purpose or purposes relating to the national health service wholly or mainly for the opthalmic services provided by the charing cross hospital for any charitable purpose or purposes relating to the national health service wholly or mainly for the haematology department, microbiology department, histopathology department, endocrinology department, chemotherapy department or other department from time to time providing laboratory services at the charing cross and west london hospitals for any charitable purpose or purposes relating to the national health service wholly or mainly for the care of the elderly department of the charing cross and west london hospital for the relief of sickness at the charing cross and west london hospitals by promoting the efficient performance of their duties by the staff of those hospitals for the relief of sickness of patients who are or have been treated at the charing cross and west london hospitals for the general purposes of charing cross hospital as stated in section 93(2) to (3) of the national health service act 1977 as amended or re-enacted from time to time a common investment fund"
