(a) the payment or transfer of the whole or any part or parts of the income or capital of the trust fund to any one or more of the following charities if and so long as they are registered as such on the register of charities maintained by the charity commissioners for england and wales: (1) the countryside preservation trust (11) the countryside trust (111) the countryside foundation (iv) the game conservancy (v) any other charity or charities (including any charity which the trustees or any of them may have formed either specifically for the purpose of receiving assets hereunder or otherwise and whether such charity is intended to have a permanent existence or not) which the trustees may from time to time select and include within their objects the whole or any part or parts of any of the following objects that is to say (1) the protection maintenance or preservation of the countryside or any part of it (11) the education of the public or a section of the public as to the countryside or any part of it (111) such other objects as the trustees consider will or may promote or assist in the promotion of the countryside or any part of it or will or may howsoever benefit the countryside or any part of it. (b) the promotion of the conservation preservation and restoration of the natural beauty of the rural environment of the united kingdom for the public benefit (c) the advancement and promotion in the united kingdom and elsewhere for the public benefit of education concerning any part or parts of the countryside or their conservation or the effect of traditional country pursuits and methods of land and wildlife management (and in particulr the effect of their preservation protection development maintenance abolition or curtailment) upon such one or more of the following as the trustees shall from time to time determine namely (1) the ecology (11) the rural environment (111) wildlife (1v) agriculture (v) the way of life and economy of the rural community (v1) the industries and businesses connected therewith and employment within those interests and businesses (d) the preservation for the benefit of the nation at large of united kingdom flora and fauna by promoting and facilitating practical conservation and wildlife and landscape management including traditional agricultural methods and utilisation of natural resources and planning schemes (e) the funding of education and research into the rural economy and rural communities and the publication of the useful results of such research (f) the promotion for the benefit of the public of the conservation and study of game species and wildfowl and their habitats and other species associated with those habitats and the publication of the useful results of such study (g) the advancement and support of research into the ecology and biology of native and introduced animal plant bird aquatic and marine species and their environmental requirements and the publication of mthe useful results of such research (h) the advancement of public education and the promotion of research in or into the aquatic and marine environment ornithology botany and biology and the conservation of gane and wildfowl native and introduced wild animal bird and plant species and the publication of the useful results of such research (1) the relief of the mentally and physically handicapped by way of therapeutic assistance for them by means of traditional countryside activities (j) the relief of poverty or physical distress amongst the rural community.
