the objects of the club are, distinction of sex , sexual orientation, race or of political , religious or other opinions, to promote any charitable purposes for the benefit of the irele community (nigeria) in the uk (hereinafter referred to as 'the area of benefit') and in particular: [1] to relieve persons from the area of benefit who are in conditions of need, hardship or distress or by reason of their social and economic circumstances. [2] to encourage activities which promote the social welfare of persons from the area of benefit who are in conditions of need or hardship by reason of their social and economic circumstances. [3] to provide financial , career and/ or other assistance to such persons from the area of benefit who are in need in order to promote or develop their physical, mental and / or spiritual capacities that their conditions of life may be improved. [4] to provide financial assistance, information and advise for persons from the area of benefit facing housing problems by reason of their social and/ or economic circumstances. [5] to promote the education of persons from the area of benefit who through their social and economic circumstances are in need and unable to gain employment and in particular to promote or support schemes where such persons may receive training while in employment. [6] to educate and assist young persons from the area of benefit through their leisure time activities so as to develop their physical, mental and spiritual capacities that they may grow to full maturity as individuals and members of society and that their conditions of life may be improved. [7] to promote such other charitable purposes as may from time to time be determined.
