Objects:
1. to advance the education of students attending city & islington college and in particular those of african, asian and caribbean origin by providing and assisting in the provision of mentors, business training and courses for such students which would not otherwise be provided by the college and in such other charitable ways as the trustees may from time to time decide. 2. to provide financial assistance for students who are in need. 3. to encourage equality of opportunity between persons of different racial groups in particular by increasing the level of public awareness in and appreciation of the part which mentors and other role models may play in the development of children and young people, particularly from ethnic minority backgrounds in growing to full maturity as individuals and as members of society.
