"(a) for the restoration, preservation, repair, maintenance, improvement, beautification and reconstruction of the church of st. bartholomew, great gransden (hereinafter referred to as ""the church) in the diocese of ely and in the county of cambridgeshire and of the bells clocks carillons monuments fittings fixtures stained glass, furniture, ornaments and chattels in the church and of the churchyard belonging to the church. (b) for the benefit of the people of the said diocese of ely and the said county of cambridgeshire to restore preserve repair maintain improve beautify and reconstruct the church as a building of historical importance or architectural value in the event of the church being declared redundant by a pastoral scheme made under the pastoral measure 1983 (or any statutory modification or re-enactment thereof) or otherwise ceasing to be used regularly for public worship and the bells clocks carillons monuments fittings fixtures stained glass furniture ornaments and chattels in the church and the churchyard belonging thereto."
