the foundation is established to further the charitable purposes of the octavia hill housing trust particularly but without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing by the provision of housing and associated facilities amenities and services for the poor, the disabled and the aged. 1)providing accommodation for persons of not less than 50 years of age who are in conditions of need, hardship or distress and persons who are under 50 years of age who are by reason of disability, illness or accident in like circumstances, with a preference for women qualified as aforesaid.2) applying the income of the charity for the purpose of relieving either generally or individually persons qualified as aforesaid by making grants of money or providing or paying for items, services or facilities calculated reduce the need hardship or distress of such persons, with a preference for women qualified as aforesaid, as the trustee from time to time shall decide.3)if the income cannot be applied in the manner aforesaid in any year the trustee may apply the same for the benefit of persons under 50 years of age who are in conditions of need, hardship or distress.s..
