the trustees shall stand possessed of the trust fund upon trust to apply the income and capital thereof in such manner as they shall in their absolute discretion think fit for all or any of the following charitable purposes namely:to maintain and manage the the three weirs being horseshoe weir, mill street weir and casemill weir in the parish of ludford and ludlow in south shropshire to preserve this important heritage for the people of ludlow and the nation at large, whilst at the same time maintaining the ecological balance of the flora and fauna and introducing environmental gain wherever possible.
