Objects:
(a) to promote education by the provision of prizes and the creation & administration of scholarships, exhibitions and bursaries and, where needed, to provide financial assistance by the reduction or remission of fees. (b) to provide for the training and instruction of pupils and students at any school for the time being carried on by the charity in every branch of learning, art and science, and on the basis of christian principles to provide such pupils and students with spiritual, moral, mental and physical training. (c) to establish and support any charitable object or institution which may be of benefit to the charity. to give pensions, gratuities or charitable aid to persons in need thereof by reason of poverty or sickness who are or may have been members of the council or may have served the charity, or to the husbands, wives, children, relatives or other dependents of such persons, or to the children of past teachers and employees of northfield school in watford, hertfordshire; to make payments toward insurance and to form and contribute to provident and benefit funds for the benefit of any such persons, or to their husbands, wives, children, relatives or dependants.
