to promote organise carry on and encourage the education of children and young people (including those in schools and other organisations) in natural history conservation and all other subjects concerning the environment and to encourage and promote their study and research into these subjects by organising an annual competition for the carrying out of projects by groups of children/young people with adult team leaders and to award prizes at a presentation ceremony each year and to organise and hold such a presentation ceremony.
