(1). the protection and preservation of health and the relief of sickness:a. provide high quality locally based services for young gay men, particularly to provide an accessible group to enable peer social support, the breakdown of isolation, work to assist the development of self esteem , delivery of sexual and psychological health programmes, hiv prevention work, the promotion of mental and physical well being, the empowerment of young gay men and enable them to make the transition in to adulthood and society.b. to relieve the results of prejudice, discrimination and homophobia experienced by young gay men; to refer such issues to appropriate authorities to take appropriate action.c. to identify and promote the emotional , psychological, social , and sexual health of young gay men and provide appropriate support, services and referrals to relevant agencies.d. the provision of support to young gay men affected by hiv, mental and physical health problems.2. advancement of education:a. to facilitate and promote education and training for young gay men around their emotional , psychological, social, and sexual health needs. to promote education and training around these issues to voluntary and statutory organisations members of the general practice.b. to advance education about the effects of homophobia in order to limit its occurrence and the severity of the effects.
