(a) to provide or assist in the provision of facilities, in particular but not exclusively, by providing coaching provisions which will enable and encourage pupils in full time education in any part of the west and north ridings of yorkshire where the game of cricket is played under the auspices of the wetherby & district cricket league to play cricket and thereby to assist in ensuring that due attention is given to the physical education and development of such pupils as well as the development and occupation of their minds(b) to provide or assist in the provision for facilities for physical recreation, in the interests of social welfare for boys and girls who are under the age of twenty-one years and who by reason of their youth or social or economic circumstances have need of such facilities, with the object of improving their conditions of life
