for such charitable purposes as the trustees shall from time to time in their absolute discretion determine to or towards the education of the public and in particular but without limitation:- 1. to increase knowledge understanding and appreciation of music and any matters of musical interest and promote improve develop and maintain public education in the art and science of music in all its aspects; 2. to make available and to encourage the provision of access to and the study and appreciation of such musical instruments as may at any time be comprised in the trust fund or in respect of which the trustees have any interest and any books manuscripts or other chattels ordinarily kept by the trustees or which may be given or lent to the trustees and which the trustees shall consider appropriate to make available to the public.
