"the trustees shall hold the trust fund and its income upon trust to advance the education of children attending primary, secondary and special schools, primarily in the london borough of bromley, in science and related subjects (provided that in so doing the trust shall not relieve the local education authority of any of its statutory obligations) by:-i)setting up a resource centre (to be known as ""the glaxosmithkline science resource centre"") to lend to schools experimental equipment and teaching aids which would otherwise not be available to them, including providing teachers and science support staff with training in the use of the equipment loaned by the glaxosmithkline science resource centreii)funding or part funding science activities and events, such as science lectures, demonstrations and theatre for pupils and teachers and visits by experts to the schools or the glaxosmithkline science resource centreiii) developing in service training courses and materials for teachers and science support staff( including, without limitation, technicians"
