Objects:
to hold the trust fund and the income thereof to :-(a) promote the education of the general public and in particular to increase their knowledge understanding and appreciation of art design and craft especially the art design and craft of british glass engraving (b) pursuant to the foregoing trust and without prejudice to the generality thereof the trustees are in particular authorised to apply the whole or part of the trust fund and the income thereof in the following ways:- (1) preserving and protecting for the public benefit items which are outstanding examples of british design and craft and encouraging their public display (11) organising an award for examples of british design and craft of outstanding merit (111) commissioning and purchasing examples of british design and craft (iv) creating maintaining and funding grants bursaries and scholarships prizes and rewards for members of the public (v) organising lectures and seminars (vi) publishing books and occasional papers (vii) instituting research and disseminating the results of it.
