Objects:
(a) to promote the relief of illness and suffering of the chronically or terminally ill in such ways as the company shall from time to time think fit, particularly in the district of west lancashire and the neighbouring community;(b) the establishment, maintenance and conducting of residential, nursing or convalescent homes for the reception and care of persons who are suffering from any chronic or terminal illness or from any disability attributable to old age or from any other physical or mental infirmity, disability or distress;(c) the provision of medical or other treatment or attention for any such persons as aforesaid in their own home;(d) the relief in cases of financial distress of dependents of such persons or deceased persons;(e) the conducting or promoting of research into the care, treatment and causes of persons suffering from such illness, disability or infirmity and in particular with the care and treatment of persons suffering from terminal disease, and the publication of the useful results of such research;(f) the provision of amenities and equipment to persons for the relief of suffering;(g) the provision of additional comforts and facilities and assistance to persons who are terminally ill as aforesaid;(h) to assist and support persons receiving, or having received treatment at the west lancashire hospital trust or from any hospice or other accommodation in the west lancashire health district and the neighbouring community who are sick, disabled, handicapped, infirm or are in need of financialassistance;(i) the provision of or assistance in the provision of or encouraging the provision of spiritual guidance for any persons giving or receiving advice, support, treatment and comfort or otherwise in accordance with the objects of the company.
