the objects for which the home is established shall be (a) to prevent and alleviate the suffering of and cruelty to animals (whether in the united kingdom or elsewhere) in such manner being charitable as the trustees shall from time to time think fit; and to (b) advance further the education of the public concerning the care and treatment of animals. (1) to relieve the suffering of and cruelty to animals by:- (a) the provision of a shelter or home for lost or stray, unwanted or abandoned animals; and(b) where possible, finding good homes for such animals.(2) the trustees must give preference to cats and dogs. (3) the land identified in the schedule to this scheme must be retained by the trustees for use for the objects of the charity.
