Objects:
1. to further the education (including social and physical training) of persons attending any educational establishment; 2. to award scholarships, exhibitions, bursaries or maintenance allowances tenable at any educational establishment to persons who are in need of financial assistance; 3. to award to any persons proposing to attend or attending any educational establishment grants or maintenance allowances to enable them to travel in furtherance of their education; 4. to provide such special benefits of any kind for any educational establishment as shall be agreed between the trustees and the governors of any educational establishment; 5. to provide or to assist any educational establishment in providing all appropriate books and equipment and boarding and other accommodation for any teacher lecturer professor or other appropriately qualified person teaching at or to pupils or students attending any educational establishment; 6. to defray or to assist any educational establishment in defraying the cost of relocating employing or training any teacher lecturer professor or other appropriately qualified person who is to give or is giving instruction to pupils or students attending that educational establishment; 7. to provide or to assist any educational establishment in defraying the cost of providing facilities for study or for the accommodation of pupils or students; 8. to promote study and research in any field approved by the trustees provided that the results of such research shall be published; and 9. provided always that they are charitable to do such other acts matters or things as the trustees consider desirable for advancing the education of any person or persons.
