for the relief of those suffering from voice disorders and in particular:(1) to promote and encourage research (and the publication of the useful results of such research) into areas such as- the early detection and treatment of malignant and non-malignant diseases of the vocal tract presenting as a voice disorder- the development of technology to enable the objective assessment of vocal function- the psychology of stress related voice disorders in adults and children- the relationship between personality and voice- the rehabilitation of the injured voice.(11) to disseminate information and advice in the acoustic, physical and psychological principles of voice production by means of conferences ,practical seminars and voice publications. (111) to disseminate information relating to vocal health to those who rely on their voice professionally.
