Objects:
(i)to promote any charitable purposes for the benefit of the community of the tees valley (being the area served by the unitary authorities of stockton on tees, redcar and cleveland, hartlepool, darlington and middlesborough hereinafter referred to as the area of benefit) and in particular the advancement of education, the advancement of citizenship or community development, the advancement of environmental protection or improvement, the prevention or relief of poverty and other purposes that are currently recognised as charitable or are in the spirit of any purposes currently recognised as charitable.(ii) to organise co-operation in the achievement of the above objects and to that end bring together representatives of the statutory authorities and voluntary organisations and other bodies and persons pursuing the above objects within the area of benefit.
