"the trustees shall hold the trust fund and its income upon trust to apply them for the following object namely:(1) the relief of sickness and preservation of health of those people suffering from the multisystem inflammatory disease known as sarcoidosis and related conditions of inflammatory disease (""sarcoidosis"") in particular by:(a) providing information about sarcoidosis to patients, relatives, healthcare professionals and members of the public(b) developing a database relating to sarcoidosis and sufferers from it(c) improving the quality of life of sufferers from sarcoidosis by assisting with measures intended to bring about alleviation of the condition, including counselling(d) raising general awareness of sarcoidosis(e) promoting research into sarcoidosis and the publication of such research(2) the advancement of education in sarcoidosis."
