1) to provide in the interests of social welfare, facilities for the recreation of young people in bristol and the surrounding areas who have need of such facilities because of their age, poverty or social economic circumstances.2) to promote for the public benefit:a) the rehabilitation of young offenders as an alternative to custodial sentences; andb) the diversion from crime of young people who are regarded as at risk of offendingby the provision of appropriate facilities for the said young people, to include the opportunity of rebuilding and driving old or damaged vehicles under proper supervision and of receiving education on car maintenance and other aspects of responsible car ownership and road useage and citizenship generally.
