Objects:
the objects of the charity are to promote the benefit and advance the education of children and young people with special educational needs in particular, but not so as to limit the generality of those objects, by:1. promoting high quality standards of service, administration and management within its member schools and organisations; 2. promoting th interests of its charitable member schools and organisations as service providers; 3. encouraging appropriate practice and collaboration among member schools whilst recognising their autonomy; and 4. developing where appropriate joint guidelines or codes of practice to serve as standards for members.
