to advance higher education at any university foundation fund or trust in the united kingdom which is an educational organisation possessing the equivalent of charitable status by virtue of its being exempt from taxation in the united kingdom and in the united states of america under section 501 (c)(3) of the united states of america internal revenue code and in particular: (a) the provision of financial assistance towards the provision maintenance and development of facilities at, or the work of such a university foundation fund or trust; and (b) the provision of financial assistance towards the creation and support of scholarships bursaries or prizes to be awarded to persons attending or wishing to attend to any such university foundation fund or trust.
