1)relieving either generally or individually persons resident in the parish of little ellingham who are in conditions of need, hardship or distress by making grants of money or providing or paying for items, services or facilities calculated to reduce the need, hardship or distress of such persons2)(a) in awarding to beneficiaries scholarships, exhibitions, bursaries, maintenance allowances or grants tenable at any school, university, college of education, or other institution of further (including professional or technical) education approved for the purpose by the trustees(b) in providing financial assistance, outfits, clothing, tools, instruments or books to assist beneficiaries to pursue their education (including the study of music and other arts) to undertake travel in furtherance thereof, or to prepare for or enter a profession, trade, occupation or service on leaving school, university, or other educational establishment(c) in making grants to any voluntary charitable organisation in or in the neighbourhood of little ellingham, the objects of which include the promotion of the education of, or the improvement of the conditions of life for the beneficiaries by developing their physical, mental and moral capacities through their leisure-time activities(d) in promoting the education (including social and physical training) of beneficiariessee clause 10 of the scheme for further details
