(a) to relieve and rehabilitate persons in need, hardship or distress, particularly those persons of italian descent, who are suffering from physical and mental illness including drug and alcohol dependency, financial hardship or those persons who are held or have been held in prisons, through the provision of advice, counselling material and emotional support and other support. (b) to advance education of the general public, in particular those persons of italian descent through the provision of english language classes and educational excursions. (c) to advance the christian religion through the provision of pastoral guidance, advice and counselling, particularly to persons of italian descent, with the object of promoting positive christian values. (d) the following charitable purposes for the benefit of the public, particularly those persons of italian descent:(1) the provision of recreational facilities in the interests of social welfare with the object of improving the conditions of life for those persons in need of such facilities. (11) to relieve unemployment through the provision of vocational training and courses.
