Objects:

the promotion of road safety for the general protection and benefit of the public by:(a) advancing education in and awareness of road safety;(b) the provision of road safety measures;(c) co-operating and providing information and advice to statuto0ry bodies in connection with any pedestrian crossing proposed for the a249 road at the point where the pilgrims way crosses the a249 road in detling in kent;(d) providing funds in connection with the said pedestrian crossingprovided that the provision of funds or road safety measures is not made in the direct relief of public funds but in augmentation thereof.
