Objects:
(1) to promote the efficiency of the occupying unit or units or a successor unit or a successor unit or units in such ways as the trustees may decide. (2) to promote the efficiency of regular army and territorial army units formerly of the yorkshire brigade in such charitable ways as the trustees may decide. (3) to make grants to such units of the army cadet force which are or have been at any time affiliated to any of the former units, the former regiment, the occupying unit or units, or a successor unit or units, for such charitable purposes as the trustees may decide. (4) to make grants to the regimental museum and regimental chapel of the former regiment. (5) to advance the education of the public in matters relating to the armed forces by paying subscriptions or making grants to any charitable learned society or other charitable institution having amongst its objects the promotion and advancement of the science and literature of the three fighting services or to public museums relating to british military forces. (6) to relieve persons who are in need, hardship or distress and who are members or former members of a successor unit or their dependants. (7) to pay subscriptions or make donations to hospitals, homes or institutions having amongst their objects the relief in sickness or convalescence of persons who are serving or have served in any unit or branch of her majesty's services.
