1. to promote any charitable purposes for the benefit of the inhabitants of the town of aylesbury and neighbourhood, particularly young adults, through association with the local authorities, voluntary organisations and the inhabitants, in a common effort to advance education and to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation and leisure time occupation, with the object of improving the conditions of life of the beneficiaries; 2. to advance education by the promotion, encouragement, improvement, development, maintenance, understanding and appreciation of the arts and crafts in the area; 3. to encourage and promote the education of young people in the principles and practice of good citizenship and service to the community.
