"the trustees shall hold the trust fund and its income upon trust to apply the income only from the endowment in the parishes of harlton, haslingfield, great and little eversden (""the area of benefit"") for the preaching of a sermon annually to be known as:- the harlton parish millennium sermon"" by an invited minister or lay person of a recognised religious persuasion, on the subject generally of ""faith and belief"" with the following objects (""the objects""):1. the primary object of the charity is the advancement of the christian religion by the provision of an annual sermon promoting tolerance of the beliefs and convictions of those who profess to faiths, beliefs, creeds and convictions other than christianity. the sermon to be conducted at the church of the assumption, harlton, cambridge, or other place of public assembly which is convenient to the aforesaid church.if the primary object can no longer be fulfilled, or has been fulfilled in a given year and a surplus of funds remains, then the trustees may with due diligence to the maintenance of the charity's future financial viability in the pursuance of the primary object, apply the funds to promote tolerance of the beliefs and convictions of those who profess to faiths, beliefs, creeds and convictions other than christianity in any charitable manner they deem suitable and in the spirit of the primary object, within the parishes of harlton, haslingfield, great and little eversden."
