the trustees shall hold the trust fund in perpetuity and subject to this deed shall apply the trust fund and the income thereof (including any income which may be derived by the trust as a beneficiary of or which may be allocated to the trust by the trustees of any other trust or trust fund whether nor in existence of hereafter to be carried out or furthered in the united kingdom or in other countries overseas, namely:(a) for the advancement of the christian religion and the better promotion of spiritual understanding in the church of england in particular within the parish of st michael's cornhill with st peter le poer and st benet fink in the diocese of london and in the city of london generally in one or more of the following ways:(1) in organising a perpetual series of sermons and lectures about god and christian belief based on scripture, the historic creeds and the writings of the church fathers and the great theologians throughout the christian millennia centred at the parish church of st michael cornhill in the city of london and open to the general public;(2) in publishing from time to time the text of the sermons and lectures organized by the trust in both booklet and book length form;(3) in promoting an educational and spiritual ethos in spiritual understanding without political slant of any kind and avoiding evangelism and polemic;(b) the advancement of the christian religion and in otherwise furthering better spiritual understanding in the church of england in the said parish and in the city of london generally in such manner as the trustees in their absolute discretion may decide.
